TSDA Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Match
2026 Match Schedule for 2027 Appointment Year
Wednesday, April 1, 2026: Program registration opens. Existing programs must log in with SF Match and pay the annual membership fee regardless of the number of positions offered. New programs must register with SF Match and pay the registration fee.
Saturday, May 31, 2026: Deadline for programs to complete Match Agreement with TSDA: contact TSDA Staff for the form.
Monday, June 15, 2026: Applicant registration opens on SF Match. Application and Rules and Regulations posted on TSDA.org. Applicants are encouraged to register with SF Match as early as possible to allow time for application submission and interviews.
Friday, July 31, 2026: Candidate application, signed and dated Rules and Regulations agreement, and letters of recommendation due to Program Directors (Program Directors may extend the deadline; confirm with programs directly)
August 1-September 30, 2026: Candidate interview period. Individual programs will provide information on how interviews will be conducted.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 12:00 p.m. PT: Rank lists due from applicants and program directors on SF Match.
Tuesday, November 10, 2026, 9:00 a.m. PT: Match Day. Programs and applicants to log on to their SF Match account to view match results.
Wednesday, November 11, 2026: Any vacancies which remain after the match will be announced on the Immediate Vacancies page of SF Match. Vacancy listings are managed by the individual programs.
July/August 2027: Approximate start of congenital cardiac surgery fellowship positions; applicants should confirm start date with program directors.
